Patrick Mahomes is even richer today than he was yesterday after restructuring his contract. He is guaranteed $210.6 million from 2023-2026...not a bad payday. Unfortunately he'll have to share it with that wife and brother of his because Patty is way too nice of a guy to cut those two weirdos loose.
But what would you do if you were guaranteed that amount of money??? Do you go all Lawrence from Office Space and take the "two chicks at the same time" approach? Do you do the responsible thing and invest it or something like smart, rich people do? I know what I would do. I would move to Spain and try to play EVERY SINGLE GOLF COURSE in the entire country. There are 493 golf courses in Spain. Now, I have no idea how good the golf over there but Jon Rahm is from there so it must be pretty decent, or at least that makes sense by my guerrilla logic. Maybe I play twice per week and finish that up in just under 5 years. After I finished in Spain, I would maybe go to Italy to play their 312 golf courses and get fat on all that Italian eats.
One last question and this is probably really stupid but what if Mahomes just retires? There has to be a clause in there where he doesn't get the money but if there isn't, why not just up and quit? Sign on the dotted line and just peace out. Leave that horseface wife and dumb dancing brother in the motherfucking dust.
